Highlights of Joe’s Experience
Executive Director of Recreation Services: Led a department with an $8 million dollar operating/maintenance budget, $25 million capital improvement budget, 325 employees, which was comprised of 11 divisions. The intent here was to create, develop and administer quality programs, facilities, and services throughout the community leveraging the resources we had through strong teams.
Parks and Recreation Director & Deputy City Manager: Led a department that was charged with managing nearly 300 acres of park space, an 18 hole golf course, numerous programs, leagues, and events. Played a large role in the successful operation of the City's drinking and waste water process to include the city's roads.
Leadership Development Consultant: Work closely with companies and their selected leaders in the area of leadership development. Work hard to cultivate these selected leaders into high level, high functioning leaders through various programs and coaching activity.
Masterful Program Development: Proven track record of designing and managing diverse programs from youth sports, adult sports, special events to adaptive athletics, increasing participation and fostering community connections.
